Local teen donates locks

Fourteen-year-old Tiana Funk of Milton recently donated a lock of her long, blonde hair to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Stylist Lydia Blair of Ulta Salon at Northpoint provided the cut and style service. This is the third time Tiana has cut her hair for a good cause. She first donated at age 7, then again at age 11.
Doing what she can to help others is important to Tiana, a long-time Girl Scout who will attend Cambridge High School as a freshman this fall.
